WINTER GUARD PROGRAM

The members and staff would like to thank… The Danbury H.S. band-aids parent’s organization…The Board of Education and Mr. Riley for their overwhelming support.  

Note: This is a Totally Green show…everything you see has been recycled except for the students…

The Members of the Winter Guard:

The 2010 Danbury High School Winter Guard will feature 10 performers:

  • Tracey Arias

  • Taylor Davis

  • Abby Faillace

  • Rosebella Finnegan

  • Melanie Hill

  • Emily Mayerson

  • Lauren Richdale

  • Kevin Murphy

  • Krista Nicholson 

They have been working very hard since mid November to learn their show and train for the season opener.  

The Music for our Winter Guard Show:

The 2010 Danbury H.S. Winter Guard Presents “Hill Of hope”

With music written and performed by “Four Non Blondes”

The song titled “What’s up” is an anthem and an outlet for venting frustration.  Lead singer Linda Perry asks the emotion question “What’s going on” and drives that question right to the edge…before backing off and coming to grips with fact that: We’re all just trying to get up that “great big hill of hope”…for a destination.

Kim Rieves -  Kim is a Bethel alumni and a member of the DCA World Championship Connecticut Hurricanes Color Guard as well as a member of the World Class Winter Guard Alter Ego. We are very happy to have her on board. You will get to see her perform at the WGI regional and a few MAC shows.
