Notable
Night
Thursday, 4/15/10
In addition to the Jamboree, this event is
the band's biggest fundraiser. It's held in the DHS cafeteria, where
dinner is generously donated by Outback, and entertainment is provided
by our students. In addition, there is a big Silent Auction. All in all,
a lot of fun for everyone! This year, Matt Rose and Lori Rogowski are in
charge of the evening; they're looking for a lot of helping hands and
would appreciate whatever time you can give to make this evening a
success.
In preparation for the Silent Auction,
please start asking businesses that you frequent for donations.
Examples: hairdressers, massage therapists, restaurants, landscaping
services, auto repair shops. Also, if you have items that you've been
saving for re-gifting purposes, consider donating those to the Silent
Auction. Lori Rogowski can be contacted at lrogo@comcast.net
if you have any questions.
Welcome,
Kim
The Danbury Winter Guard
is pleased to announce that Kim Rieves will be joining the staff. Kim is a
Bethel alumni and a member of the DCA World Championship Connecticut
Hurricanes Color Guard as well as a member of the World Class Winter Guard
Alter Ego. We are very happy to have her on board. You will get to see her
perform at the WGI regional and a few MAC shows.
And
from Mr. Riley:
Greetings!
I have always said that the real blessing found in my work was the opportunity to work with and learn from our community's wonderful children. I could never have imagined that I would encounter the same such blessing working with their parents. Your creativity, energy and commitment are beyond comparison. Congratulations to you all. Your Jamboree was fantastic!
